Xtend series products from Protonex provide solutions for extended run power needs when the grid or renewable source can’t provide you with power. The base model Xtend system connects directly to the DC bus of your existing power system to provide extended run time operation in 25% of the volume and 7% of the weight of an equivalently sized VRLA battery bank—all without the noise and permitting problems associated with a conventional generator. The Xtend REN solution is specifically designed to integrate with your solar or wind renewable power source. This system provides the reliable power that you want when the weather is unpredictable without significantly oversizing your collector or energy storage system. Xtend systems are available in multiple rack mount configuration options.
